LITTLE SHORT OF MIRACLE Ashland News in Paragraphs Preserved better than many an Egyp tian mummy, a shrunken body of an Iu- diun chief who died more than 400 years ago has been brought to the United S tates by Juuu K ratiel, a Peru vian engineer. T he mummy is only 25 inches high, for the body was shrunk and preserved by a secret "pickling’ process known only to the South Am er ican Indinus. T radition records th a t th is is the mummy of K arruba, a Peruvlau chief who led his tribe against the Spaniards in 1535.
